Isle of Bute — Scotland

For all this dominates the skyline down at Kingarth and Kilchattan, I don't actually know what this mast transmits. TV? Radio? Freeview? Mobile phones signals? All of the above?

From The Traveller at 2008-07-29 22:47:35 : Been up there a few years back, but was hunting something else and paid little attention to the signs, and it's not listed in usual sources. The dishes are directional, and suggest this is primarily a relay or repeater station, allowing signals to cover a path between locations that are otherwise obscured from one another. By following lines-of-sight on a map, anyone can work out where the dishes are aimed, and who the potential owner may be.
